UPDATED TO remove Prince Edward Island as one I need and to show an updated and better described scans of the ten stamps still available for trade.

I have ten excellent condition Ontario cannabis stamps for a one-for-one trade only for similar stamps from each Canadian jurisdiction other than Ontario, Prince Edward Island and Quebec, which I already have.

I need Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Manitoba, Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavit.

The following scans show the actual stamps in both face and corresponding reverse sides.

The top row and the left stamp on the second row have been removed from the original packaging and no glue remains.

The second from the left and the middle stamps on the second row had some glue remnants so were affixed to previously used bond paper but on the clean side. The remaining two right side stamps are on the original two piece black and silver backed packaging paper.

I must inquire. How did you seperate the stamp from the packaging? I now have two from PEI only, but still attached to cardboard packaging. I cut it so it lays flat with the packaging attached so it forms the backing and a border. I still do not have N.S. yet even though I live here.

Similar to stamps vs postal history ... seems like these would be more collectible and valuable if left on as large a piece of the original packaging as possible. Thoughts?

John, I have no idea what the packages look like that these stamps were affixed to as I do not purchase it myself. Have not even gone into an outlet to view any. It may be more difficult to mount on page or easily in an album.

This image "borrowed" from eBay shows a small paperboard box which seems easily flattenable. In my opinion, removing the stamp from the package loses most of the character and collectibility of the item.

That said, I have collected quite a number of large and/or 3-D postal and fiscal items believing that not everything has to fit artificially in the confines of an album. Anyway, just something to consider.

No1philatelist - will you trade one PEI for one Ontario ? (your choice from the eleven I've shown)

A relative purchases medical cannabis and mailed the stamps to me last week . I don't know if the packaging has changed, but removing from the original bottles resulted in many destroyed stamps.

Try putting this container into your album.

Pretty much all the ones I have (Ontario only sorry) have come on cardboard boxes similar to what is pictured above. I cut them out myself, leaving just a margin of the paper backing.

UPDATE to my first listing of Ontario cannabis stamps for trade.

Please note that I have recently traded my Ontario QSE881538 (middle of the three stamps in the bottom row shown in the first posting above) for a Prince Edward Island cannabis stamp.

I've just - ahem - acquired three Ontario cannabis stamps. All were on foil packaging, so were easy to remove...carefully of course. The issue now is the glue on the back. What d'you think BlackJag. Just stick them on some acid free paper? (no pun intended regarding the 'acid')

Jamessw. Acid free ! Nice one.

I wondered if it would look okay to stick it directly in a mount cut to leave a nice even border around it. That way it has the black background and can be mounted or stored in an album.
