Sc#391 1986 "Melancholia" by Albrecht Durer.
Thematic : Halley's Comet.
In the engraving Durer has placed the "Magic Squares"
Note: How he etches the rungs of the ladder, having the ladder twist in mid air.

Magic Squares.
Whichever way you add the 4 numbers, they all result in 34

That's a great Dürer engraving. I bought a picture postcard of it at the Berkeley Art Museum last November.
