Hi,

The stamp attached was unissued (1983) and erroneously sold at a few post offices.

The reason was that the person shown on the stamp is not the one which was intended (C.W. Tamotherampillai). A corrected stamp was issued later that year.

Can anyone tell me who the person on the stamp is ?
