To celebrate the Chinese Year of the Monkey, Canada issued in 2016 two stamps in addition to different SS's and many items, feature the Monkey King. I already posted part of them above in the previous page (June 9, 2023).

Here is the second stamp with an embossed image of the Monkey King.

Postal stationary postcard with a printed stamp, not embossed, posted to Israel.

The complete set of two stamps and strip of three stamps, on covers posted to Israel.

The above 2016 Canadian stamp appears on another SS's, together with stamps of different Chinese Year animals.

In 2016, the beginning of the Chinese Year of the Monkey, it appears with stamp of the former Chinese Year of the Ram.

In 2017, the end of the Chinese Year of the Monkey, it appears with stamp of the coming Chinese Year of the Rooster.

Uproar in Heaven (1961–1964) is the first full-length Chinese animated feature, created by the Shanghai Animation Film Studio. It adapts early chapters of Wu Cheng'en's Journey to the West, depicting the Monkey King's rebellious exploits with a style inspired by traditional Peking opera.

Uproar in Heaven, issued by St. Vincent in 1996 to publicize the CHINA'96 stamp exhibition.

A very attractive set of stamps depicting scenes from the Chinese novel "Journey to the West - the Adventures of the Monkey King" was issued by Antigua and Barbuda on March 15, 2017. The stamp designs are based on illustrations by the Chinese artist Liu Jiyou (1918–1983), created for illustrated editions of the Chinese novel. These works were painted primarily during Liu Jiyou's mature artistic period in the late 1950s to early 1960s (c. 1958–1965), with some related versions and reworkings produced into the 1970s.

Two souvenir sheets from Liberia depicting the Monkey King, 2016.

The first souvenir sheet depicts Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, in a modern, dynamic fantasy style and appears to be a contemporary digital illustration.

The second souvenir sheet portrays Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, in a simplified, cartoon-style design inspired by traditional Chinese opera and popular animated interpretations of Journey to the West.
