Hi

I've inherited first day cover albums from my Mother.
The first album are first day covers from India.
Is this first day cover rare?

Hi Molliemoo,

In the USA "First Day Cover" refers to covers canceled on the day the stamp was issued.

The cover you show is a "First Flight" cover.
It was carried on the first day on the Bombay to London airmail route.

Just as collectable as a first day cover.

Maybe changing the title of your post to include "first flight" will get the attention of members who collect first flights.
