NFLD Scott 261 - N.s.s.c. 244 Partial Or Full Offset...?

Need some advice as to whether or not this Scott 261 - N.S.S.C. 244 is a full/partial offset...Unitrade does not recognize any offset for this stamp...N.S.S.C. does.

Need your opinion...Thanks.

Personal opinion:

I would consider your stamp to be full offset.

Full offset: The complete "stamp" is visible.

Partial offset: Only part of the "stamp" is visible(often half of it)

Extremely personal opinion: Offset does not belong in a catalogue.

Is the offset below the gum?

Jogil...The offset is under the ink print...Gum applied over top of offset...I think but could be over gum to.

Anyone can make an 'over gum offset'. Take two mint stamps and place one on top of the other. Insert into a book and press for a few weeks with a relative humidity of 70-75. Remove stamps and carefully pull them apart, result is an offset stamp.

I don't usually disagree with you Don, but this time I do.
Yes, some one may be able to transfer offset to my stamp over gum, but not under the gum.

You want it removed from catalouges, well then remove "no gum" from catalouges to..

Example USA stamps from Scott 184 to 315...Lots of No Gum...I can remove gum dishonestly like you said..Then why not remove "no gum" from ALL American stamps. (and the world)

There are lots of "offset" in Canada like Scott 502ii - 544a - 715vii - 1362 - Etc. etc. and etc.

Just saying..Just because some one may (MAY) be able to create an offset over a mint gum stamp, how about mine, offset UNDER gum.
