I was going through a few stamps and came across my Scott 196 King George V "Medallion" issue.
I took the top and side perforations and joined them together to see if they would line up as perforation 11x11 as Unitrade and LAC information suggests.
To my surprise they did NOT line up. As seen below.
So I took a one of my Scott 196 mint blocks and decided to do a perforation test. Again, I realized that the perforation 11x11 was not very accurate. Left and right vertical side of the block measured Perf.11 as information suggests, but as I began to measure the block, I noticed the top, bottom horizontal measurements was actually measured perf.11.2 on my mint single and mint block.
I would want and expect other collectors to chime in with their accurate perf. measurements. If I am wrong, please let me know.
Robert
