Mystery Stamps I Cannot Identify - Stumped!

Alright, I'm putting the collective expertise to the test today. I have an envelope of "umm????" and every so often I google whatever word or identifying piece on the stamp/label I can to see where they are from. Usually, I have some luck and it ends up being some weird Cinderella or revenue dohickey. The following "stamps" have got me stumped. I have some suspicions about where a few may be from but just can't find or confirm so let's see who can solve my mysteries! I apologize I have to use photographs as my scanner is buried under stuff at the moment. There is nothing of note on the reverse of any of them. Anyways, here we go!

Exhibit A: Kind of looks like the Austrian eagle sort of design. Appears to say BAHN and 300 in reverse? It's on a thicker stock paper - possible stationary?



Exhibit B: I tried to google CRG and savings stamp.. nada. Maybe a ration label or something? Company coupon?



Exhibit C: I haven't got a clue. There is extremely small print at the bottom that is all blended together and indescernible. There's an eagle..



Exhibit D: Some kind of Arabic script? Palestine? Jordan? ?? I'm lost..



Exhibit E: I thought maybe Israel given the italicized script writing. Appears to say DDA? I can't make out the writing at all. Also on thicker paper, so maybe part of an envelope?

The last item you show is inscribed in old German script, known as "Suetterlin". I believe this label was produced by a society of ethnic Germans (Sudetes) living in what is today the Czech Republic.

Love the first one shown! Someone had fun with backward and forward facing text and image.

The second and third items appear to be stamps/coupons issued by European businesses. Fourth item looks like Egyptian revenues, of which I have no knowledge.

Bang on for Exhibit D! Did some googling with that tip and found out they are Egyptian medical fee stamps. Reading about it now. Super cool!! Thanks!!!

I think you are also correct on Exhibit E. I did some searching on Suetterlin and it matches. I can make out some letters using a script translation example but am a bit stumped. I'll play around with it! Thanks again :) Now to read on the history of that as well. Fascinating!

The first stamp looks like Prussia 6 Pf which was issued in 1861 in orange, but is a setoff. The black text is a mystery. "Bahn" means railroad.

So to be on a postal stationary type paper and be set off, was the envelope laid on top of a freshly printed other envelope and the person just cut the set off part of that envelope? I find it odd there's a postmark or over print also reversed. Trying to wrap my brain around how that was created lol

Unless it's a proof? I mean the paper isn't super thick or stiff upon further inspection. Just thicker than the average stamp. It definitely looks to be the Prussian 6pf though - good eyes! I am still trying to figure out how it would be offset as well as the ?postmark?

Exhibit D is Egyptian medical stamp. I can't quite remember if it was medicine tax or a Cinderella.

Some developments:

Exhibit E: I found a very lovely lady who can read and translate Suetterlin and she was kind enough to provide this: "Brüdern im bedrängten Land - warm fühlend Herz, hilfreiche Hand". VDA
Google translates this to: " Brothers in the troubled country - warm heart, helpful hand"
The VDA eventually stood for: "Verein für das Deutschtum im Ausland" and was, in a nutshell, a group that sought to spread "Germanness" across various lands and promote same. I did a bit of reading on the history and how they ultimately moved from a Nationalist to National-Socialist movement much in line with Nazi Germany in WWII. Quite a fascinating little "stamp" item (or whatever it is). Definitely learned a lot!

Exhibit A: This is still a stumper. I sent the scans off to a gentleman who specializes in Germany railroad postmarks and stamps. He ran it buy a friend who is also quite knowledgeable and here is the information received back: " Very strange stamp I do agree that this is appears to be an offset of the Prussia —But I think not offset, but a deliberate printing because it is so strong and blurred( purposely?) which is unlike any other offset I have ever seen." He went on to suggest the text is in Cyrillic, not Latin script, except that fourth character is wrong. He suggested I run it by staff at Linn's so I have done so. It's a weird one!

I think Exhibit A has to be intentionally reversed, but I can't guess the purpose. You can get an offset when one printed piece is laid on top of another while the ink is still wet. But you would never get an offset of both the stamp AND the overprint. Those would have been printed in separate runs.

I would suggest posting items B and C in the US Back of Book section. Lots of experts on esoteric material there.

Oops. Yes, second item is U.S. coupon/rebate stamp. Third one appears to be French.
