I'm specifically looking for the country of Guinea.

Scott is useless, as it only states the following:

Quote:
From late 1962 onward, most Guinea stamps exist imperforate.

Michel is pretty good about listing and pricing imperfs, with the exception of the earliest issues from late 1962, where all Michel says is that imperfs are known ("bekannt").

Do Yvert or Stanley Gibbons price the early imperfs of Guinea? Are there any other catalogs I should be looking at?

Specifically, I'm looking for values for the 3 high value air mail stamps of the bird series of December 1962, Scott # C41-43, Michel 161-163.

The values for the 3 perforated stamps are $17.75 and 20,50 euros in their respective catalogs.

I realize that most of these modern imperfs tend to only be realistically worth a couple of bucks apiece at most, so real-world sold prices tend to be more accurate than any catalog value, but when I search current and past listings on ebay, hipstamp, and delcampe, I only come up with the perforated stamps. I'm not finding any listings for the imperfs, which implies a possibility that they could be somewhat scarce.

Thanks in advance.

Like Scott, Gibbons includes a general reference to the existence of limited quantities of imperforated stamps, as it does for other former colonies, but doesn't give prices. Yvert gives no prices.

Here's an ebay auction for a Kennedy set

Michel prices many of these imperfs, but not all -- the 1962 bird set is #149-163, and Michel says for this set, simply:

Quote:
MiNr. 149-163 #9633; bekannt.

Quote:
Michel #149-163 are known imperforate.

FWIW, most Guinea imperf sets that Michel prices are around double the price for the perforated set. Also, Michel never prices the individual imperfs, but only the complete sets.
