Your cancellation suggests Scott 7. Yvert & Tellier says that this type of cancellation, grille au rouleau, was normal only in the period 1849-52. It was replaced by a variety of others, usually featuring points, in 1852, and appeared thereafter only "exceptionnellement."

Earliest cancellations for the colonies were points, round or square, assembled in lozenges or squares.

But I'm no expert. Others may know better.
