Scott 165 Die II "Arch Leaf" - Very Odd Perforation Combinations.

Take a look at this Scott 165 arch stamp {and yes has a wide border on the left.}
Unitrade shows Scott 165 has a perforation of 11 x 11.
This one is...

TOP – 11.25
BOTTOM – 11
RIGHT – 11
LEFT – 11


Left stamp measurement taken at Perf.11 and Right stamp taken at perf.11.25


Just to show that the bottom perf is not 11.25 but it was measured at perf.11



Hope some one can verify if there are other Scott 165 stamps with the same odd perforation combinations...???

Robert, did you proofread your post ? You must mean 11.25 where it says 12.25. You know, I am flyspecking your posts,

wert: In the file that I emailed you on Canada stamp line perforations, there is something on page 9 that may account for this difference.
For Kiusalas gauge fans, it would be K-71=0.071"=11.09 per 2 cm which is not found marked on his gauges but can and does also exist.

If you believe the top and bottom perforations are different on a stamp, then it would be more convincing to show the top and bottom rows photoshopped butting together rather than against perforation gauges. In other words, show a 1:1 direct comparison, not against a secondary item which can have user bias/error.

Second, It would be nice to have a clean unobstructed scan of the stamp in question so readers can do their own observations/manipulations.
