I do not see anything in the catalogue (ACSC 2007)
You should endeavor to supply known ID Perf Wmk
Sc#20 translates to 1923 Typo (Mesh Verticle) Guage 14 1/2d Orange 2nd Wmk
I would have expected to see the frame damage listed.
Let's see what the experts suggest.

Cupram:
This appears to be a constant variety on Electro VI, Left Pane, Position 12. Per Dix and Rowntree's "The George V Halfpenny", this is described as:
White margin at right: line of colour for 0.5mm beginning 10.75mm from the top with thinning of adjacent right frame.
There is no mention of the disturbance at the top which looks to me more like an inking situation.
Frank.

Cupram:
Does your catalogue give a date of issue for your Scott 20 so that I can identify the BW number and include it in the index for this topic?

Quote: This appears to be a constant variety on Electro VI, Left Pane, Position 12. Per Dix and Rowntree's "The George V Halfpenny", I find it testing, reading Dix and Rowntree. Not sure if they had differing releases of the halfpenny.(catalogue) I cannot find any instance of "position 12" I can see Electro 6, lower member of 3rd set Left pane 2nd state (Later single printings) (c) Right Margin coloured spot filling white margin 3.5mm from bottom I assume the measurement is 3.5mm from white margin above Emu's back. Or......... "Unpositioned constant flaws" Electros 5,6,7,and 8 B15 Right white margin small colour flaw projecting from inner side of frame, 3.75mm rom lower corner, and filling, or nearly filling white margin. |

Itma, rod222,thanks for identifying. I look for and collect varieties for German stamps. I don't know anything about Australian stamps and catalogs. I bought a lot of George V stamps seeing your topic. The varieties on the German stamps are marked with I, II, III, IV, etc. added at the end of the catalog number. Please send me the coding (according to which catalog?) of this variety and catalog value. Thanks again for this job well done. George |

George, unable to assist apart from...(Opinion only) Listed in early Dix and Rowntree Catalogue Electro 7 Not priced They attempted a specialisation of the halfpenny impression.
Not listed in our "Bible" Brusden /White from what I can tell I only have 2007 issue. There, the stamp is listed as ACSC 66(7)
basic Value $3 All other flaws circa $25 mint, $20 mint hinged, $18used.
Suggestions if selling ACSC 2007 #66(7) 1923 unlisted flaw right white frame Noted in Dix Rowntree Electro 7 (Note 12)
