Laid Paper Example From Bileski Catalogue

I have a copy of Bileski's catalogue, 1962 edition. In the Large Queen section he has a page on Laid Papers and says that in previous editions, he had tried to explain what they look like. In this edition, he decided that the only way you could really know, was to have a sample - so that's what he did. He paper clipped a small piece of laid paper into the catalogue so that you would know what to look for.

Of course, you can't see it in this photo, but when you hold it up to the light, you can clearly see the lines. He was an interesting guy.
