"Common" does not devalue the interest quotient.
As you see, the Postmarks were interesting.

The left hand stamp, is badly damaged, cut by scissors.

Actually, no it is not... paper remains similar, (some is blued)

What you are experiencing, is the stamp still adhered to part of the envelope, or paper when originally used.

Placed in cold water, the paper on the back should float off within 10 minutes. (along with the moisture of the tongue of the person whom licked it, 140 years ago)

If someone could cross check between plate 8 and plate 18
For the TA
I have been given a opinion I'd like to double check
If indeed it happens to come from plate 18 it would make the cancel
Common

I don't think it's plate 18.

Well I'm stuck
I've been trying to figure out what plate the TA is from
I've been told by good authority that it's not from plate 8
So if anyone has plate suggestions I'll definitely give them a look
I'd really like to figure this out

Hi Just fella,

Another apology from me, it can't be a plate 8.

I'd say it's a die 2 plate 18.

Thanks again for the reply Bobby!
I keep looking at plate 18 but I have some issues with the A and star
The A on 18 doesn't have the "bent leg" and the star is missing the 6 o'clock
Dash (not 100% sure if that matters)

Could the bent leg be a sort of optical illusion through it being a little bit over inked I wonder?

The relative angles and positioning of the T & A are the same IMHO.

As a novice in this discipline, I would tend to agree.
The link to the sheet cannot provide enough clarity to prove otherwise.
I can see a dash at 6 o'clock as well.
