I know it's ink and anything can happen the "bend" seems intentional IMO if you take a straight line and double it how often does it bend? But I guess it is within possible

This is a blow up from my link. On firefox, by clicking the picture it increases in size. Then just keep hitting Ctrl & the plus sign together to blow it up further. |

Bump* It's been a while since I posted this, and I've learn some useful things since. My interests changed and well I haven't really looked at very many GB stamps. With Halloween coming up I thought I'd take another look at her, I have to agree 100% on plate 18, the check letters match perfectly! Thanks for the help, appreciate it!

Got somebody to actually look at this!!!! Gonna be a slow road, apparently I need multiple opinions before a expert will look at it. But ball is rolling, now I got better explanation and images. Can't wait to see where this goes….even if I'm wrong. |

You may think of me in your own way, that's your opinion, I don't need to know it. Perhaps it's thought I'm "confirmation bias" or what have you, I'm really not, I have no problems being wrong, I learn from it :) The problem I'm having just saying it's p18 and dropping it, is due to the issue with the direction of the A, I feel it's very questionable and unreliable as a possible "point" toward the ID, pretty simple. Having being unable to use the check letter properly, I looked for other "points or markers" using both 18 and 1b examples (sourced on the net, so reliably is questionable) Why would I question this?….it's already a scarcer plate (value..no clue between p18 and 1b, I don't care) but a solid item for me to own It's so Simple…I like to get to the bottom of things best I can, and I'm left with doubt right now with the direction of the A, the two plates are so close. I can't find anything offered as a specific "flaw, marker or point" to look for on p18, but I did for 1b so I used them….not "confirmation bias" but, where I'm at with what I have. I can show the issue I'm seeing with the A but I'm not sure how to get it to post it here, Re-entry, inking issue, what ever it makes it questionable in my eyes.
