I don't usually bid on their items or participate in UK auctions due to the VAT, shipping fees and other assorted fees but the Doyen collection had a lot I was very interested in and ended up winning the lot. Now I have a problem paying for it.
Their terms are 7 days and I've tried to contact them on 3 separate occasions regarding this. When I log onto their website there is a section called "My Spink" and when I go there it shows 0 current invoices. I received an email invoice for the lot but no link to pay for it, you must go to my Spink and pay for it there. As I mentioned I've reached out to them 3 times to let them know I want to pay for it but can't until I can see the invoice in my portal. Calling them is tough because of the time difference. By the time I get home from work they are closed and we don't have international calling at my office.
Anyone else run into this with them? Or does anyone have a contact there? All I have is the appointed concierge who really is useless. She responded to me that she notified their IT department but that was 2 days ago and nothing has changed.

If it is too late to call them when you get home from work, then call them before you go to work. |

Quote: If it is too late to call them when you get home from work, then call them before you go to work Oh, did I leave out the detail of I can't call from home because I'm married. I leave for work at 6am and If I wake the wife up because I'm calling London to pay for stamps she'll blow a fuse. Especially if she found out how much I plunked down for them In her world there are no stamps worth whatever you paid for them. This is why I have a stash account, no harm, no foul. Was hoping someone had a contact there that would lend a helping hand. |

Stallzer, we have some great folks from over there on this forum. How about an Email to some of them?

I have never had My Spink work for me. Ever. I no longer bid with Spink London or NY. |

Stallzer@ I just transferred the funds to their account in the second day to save the hassle. Perhaps I should have just used the credit card instead. After hearing what you guys said, I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that my stamp arrives safely. |

They finally after 5 emails got the invoice to appear in my portal and I was able to pay for the lot. Can't wait until it arrives in 5 weeks.... |

Don't think I had the option to choose. I see the shipping charge is a whopping £30 so I'm assuming they are putting it on an airplane for that kind of fee. Actually I'm sure the charge is for insurance for full catalog value but still for £30 I hope it's the gold standard of shipping. |

Did you pay £30 on top of the £60 they already charge for shipment? I was automatically invoiced £60 for shipment which I presumed included insurance. |
