Got it pretty cheap at a yard sale was in an envelope with some other foreign stamps paid 2 dollars for it.

You can pick up pretty substantial Russian collections pretty cheaply. Perhaps take a look at one or two of the less ritzy auction houses. China prices continue to be inflated, in my limited experience.

That's what I'm hoping for.. I have only a couple far eastern stamps.. I like the look of them and they are cheap as you said.

China Gold Yuan stamps have many types and varieties. It takes a good catalog and some experience to identify them. Most of them are very common and inexpensive (with a CV of $0.25).

Some of these stamp issues from China inflation period 1945-1948 were issued in quantities of a few million stamps each. For many years some of these stamps have been available in sheet quantities for low prices. However, there are many more stamp collectors in China than there are quantities of these stamps so that many of them will not be able to have a copy.
