Just posting this perforation oddity on QR6 and QR6a "Quebec Registration" stamps for your information.

As far as I am aware of these stamps were printed with 12.0 x 12.0 perforations...Here are 2 stamp that have a different perforation.

12.0 x 12.0
and also
11.75 x 12.0

See stamp below...


You can clearly see the difference..

I don't know what the official catalog differences are between QR6 and QR6a, but ...
in the comparison scan, the image area of the lower stamp is about 1mm wider than the upper stamp.

Just saying if they are all supposed to be 12.0 x 12.0 and is assigned this perf. then maybe they should add 11.75 x 12.0 QR6 and QR6a to their list.

Since these revenue stamps are from the Small Queen period, there is the possibility that its perforations can gauge in the 11.5 to 12.5 range. If you find anything related to Canada revenue stamps, you should contact ESJ van Dam.

van dam catalog from 2017 states

perf 11.5,12,12.5, 11.5x12 and 12x11.5
