Hey everyone,
I recently inherited a stamp collection. I tried to indentify the stamp of Brazil (I hope, the stamp is from Brazil) I'm a beginner from Germany an for me it's impossible to check if the stamp is of significant value or forgery or.... If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

The 1866 issues were perforated 13 1/2. Yours is imperforated. The stamp would be a Scott 25.

I'm not aware of a Scott 25 being forged. The big issue is a fake perforation to make it a Scott 47.

The skin on the lower right considerably diminishes its value.

Dan

Experienced stamps need a home too. I'd rather have an example that is imperfect than no example.
I collect for enjoyment, not investment.
