Who really cares about graded revenues? I certainly don't!

Very few people actually do, but there are some.

"PSE are not the only expert or knowledgeable people on grading out there. There are others who know how to examine and grade stamps"

Yes, but PSE does the majority of graded certs and your mileage will vary with other services (for instance PSAG tends to grade higher than PSE) or other people who may have taught you.

And the PF tends to grade a bit more conservatively, but learning from several people interested in teaching is better than learning from a for profit company that is not.

Revcollector:
I have read and re-read your posts and replies to your posts in this thread. I still am still curious about how a PERSON can influence your decision on the appearance and quality of a STAMP. You mention that this is common practice in your business and that you have been taught by people for years to do this. Please tell me what company or group you work for. Do you sell on ebay? If I were looking for stamps that you have assessed, how could I identify the seller?

People can and do teach other people; in stamps as much as any other field. I work for a number of different dealers. I do not sell stamps myself, I break down and catalog large lots and collections for others, and remove any items I think are gradable while doing so. What happens with them is up to the owner in question.
