Canada 45 10c Small Queen Colors

I am Confused. Unitrade catalog states that the 10 cent small queen in the Identification table perfed with the k65 as the Ottawa printing.

However the far right stamp definitely measures k65 but is what I would call Magenta in Color, which should be Scott 40d. 40d is described as being k68x66 (11.5x12) or is the catalog wrong? I dont think it could be the 45b the Pink variety.

I have measured all 3 stamps multiple times.
Brown Red, Dull Rose, Magenta

Check 40a magenta in Unitrade.

Not all magenta 10c are 11.5x12

The colour is pretty distinctive as a 40, not 45.

The perfs on 40 and 45 vary slightly but can be almost identical.

Maybe try an Instanta type gauge to check more accurately.
