Searching for a larger amount of BDR postage stamps I found these with a different color. Michel's special catalog says nothing about it. Is it often with their stamps?

They are both used stamps - no telling what could have happened

For the second stamp in Michel(2019 ed.) it is written:
"Mi#954 are available with a background that varies greatly in color"
