Hello, I am a coin collector, I know nothing about stamps. Was hoping someone could give me an approximate value of a Harris Freedom Album with stamps mounted. I have created a video at

iniW3bVc95c

I also inherited about 1,000 plus stamps in packages marked mystic stamp company and many first day envelopes. I'm guessing the collection is not worth very much but I would appreciate any input from the forum members. Thank you

Nothing of significant value but a good start a new hobby.

Thanks Don, much appreciated. What do you think $20 on ebay? I'm focused on Philippine/American coins and don't want to start a new hobby.

I wouldn't do a Buy It Now at $20 but starting it at auction at $20 is reasonable.

Welcome to the forum.

When selling that album the problem is shipping. You almost have to ship USPS Priority Medium Box which will cost $13 through the ebay system. Adding $13 to a low cost item makes it difficult to sell. Make sure you choose no International shipping which is much to expensive.

I would recommend you start the auction at 99c which will get you the most bids. At 99c you will get bids, at $20 starting price you might not get any bids. I would be sure and mention the album is in good clean condition. Bidders like old albums in good condition.

Good luck,

Ken

Ah yes, shipping fees I'll need to take that into consideration. I think I might try a free site like craigslist or offerup first. I'll also throw in the other stamp I have to sweeten the deal

Good plan, maybe a local stamp club would be also be good.

I have a huge box of material that I estimate is worth $50 only problem is it would cost $50 to ship. I'm still trying to figure out how to get it out of the closet.

Good luck

Ken

Apologies, last video was very poor quality. I have uploaded a clearer version. Also, I have posted the stamps on offerup. Thanks again for your help.

Sorry for the late response, I ended up selling it in a garage sale along with a few miscellaneous stamps from the mystic stamp co.
