Mauritius Card Proofs - Genuine Or Fake?

Need help on these two Mauritius "stamps". They appear to be engraved proofs on card. No markings on reverse except a hinge remnant. Thank you for any input. Dave

Sorry to report that, in short, they are rather bad forgeries cut from a sheet pretending to show progressive wear. These I've seen before and they are on thin card stock. The heads have strange expressions mostly and are nowhere near correct.

Your first item is from the third row in the first link in the OP and your second item is from the second link in the OP. Note these have "Privater Nachdrucke" on the back where yours do not, but I am sure you you can plate yours against these sheets.

Oof, these are terrible. The portraits might best be described as "cartoonish."
