Here is an interesting post card. Have no clue for this.

Please show us both sides slightly beyond the edges.

Two thoughts come to mind:
1. It is just overpaid.
2. It has some appearance of being a double-sized card with one stamp holding it folded together.

Mr Becker, here is the front of the post card. The horizontal partial stamp would be\start at the upper right of the tower for reference.

H&E
I think John is trying to discount the possibility this is a Lettercard type item.
(Foldable postcard.)
We need an image including the edges to assist you.
Eg: does it appear torn ? is it a deckled edge ? etc

A good detective requires all information possible.

Yes, I am looking for cut-edges vs torn-edges, and the other half of the stamp at the top being present or absent.

After further close examination ,the top edge is distressed\rough. Thanks for your input. A folded card indeed.

Just so I'm understanding this correctly, would this be a "double card" where the top of the tower extends onto the second half? And the second half, with the wraparound stamp, is missing?

Yes, I think so. Although I originally thought the bottom edge at the right end was rough (torn) and that the fold was at the bottom, with the stamp sealing the card together at the top. It seems odd the stamp would be over the fold, rather than used as a seal. Unfortunately, the OP has resisted posting the requested scans showing the entire edges for us to see them for ourselves.

Here is a double card which (if separated) would have a torn edge at the top and cut edges on the other 3 sides:

Yes, ironic to not fully show the edges, but that is the best I could find to "borrow" from the internet at the moment!

Also, the image on the single card "doesn't make sense". It begs for completion.

Yes, it almost has the appearance of being the middle card in a 3-card strip, since it is missing both the top and bottom to the building. Perhaps both long sides are rough?
