Hi, I have read through previous threads regarding this question but wonder if there is any way to really distinguish these two stamps. I only have this one but in comparing it to 272 it's definitely more red but I doubt that really means much. I am not planning on selling this either way but it would be nice to know (I inherited this stamp).

Welcome to the forum!! Scott# 269 or #269b... looks like rose-red from the scan so, #269. It is hard for me to determine colors from scans, maybe someone else will come along and give their opinion also.

It's rouletted, so Scott 277.

I'd also note that while Scott only catalogs one color variety of this stamp, Michel catalogs two -- MiNr. 309 B P a and 309 B P b. This is the common color, MiNr. 309 B P a.
