If the stamp is hinged and we cant check the WM?

Why can't you check the watermark if the stamp is hinged? It's a used stamp, soak the hinge off.

496 would be a rotary press stamp. The easiest way to determine is to find a cheap flat plate stamp and trim the corners off of it. Place the trimmed stamp on top of the stamp you are checking and try to align the frame lines of the design. If the design is larger than the test stamp then it is a rotary press.

It looks like a genuine coil to me, and appears to be a rotary press printing, so will be either Scott 458 or 496, depending on whether it has a watermark or not.
