Indeed. Deaths here are running at 1,000 per day. In terms of services, many staff are absent and businesses that are open have to operate social distancing. The postal service in London is all over the place - we haven't had an ordinary, letter-type delivery since Christmas Eve, although we have had packet-type deliveries. |

No, it's still out there. Not the seller's fault, just the breaks. I got the original notice of mailing on 12-22,not quite a month so patience is needed, just for fun I'll notice it's arrival.. |

I'm not sure what the current restrictions are at the Deutsche Post/DHL, but I've had three different sellers/auctionhouses tell me in the last couple days that it's simply not possible to mail items to the US right now unless it's a first-class letter. Parcels are a complete no-go. Not sure if that's a postal policy or simply a financial/risk-analysis decision by the sellers, but that's the word.
Also, I should note that one of those auctionhouses elected to send my lots to the US via a FedEx envelope. It was picked up in Wiesbaden on 13 Jan, arrived Memphis 14 Jan, and is expected to be delivered in Texas NLT 16 Jan. Certainly beats the 2+ months I've been waiting on shipments via DHL/USPS. |

I was just informed this AM that my package which is in Germany could take up to ten weeks to arrive here in the US. |

I ordered a custom 3D printed toy for my son from a vendor in Germany, it was sent via DHL. Ordered in early October, didn't receive it until a few days after Christmas. Roughly 2˝+ months from when ordered to delivery. Hope yours arrives faster than that!

I'd meant to order this album earlier but as I recall, Schaubek was not accepting overseas orders. I rechecked in December but they were then, Had I known I'd not have placed it. Probably looking at February by now. |

An ebay item (postcard) that I bought from a German seller on Jan. 2 arrived yesterday (Jan. 14) via Deutsche Post. On the flip side, I'm still waiting for a stamp I bought on ebay from a seller in New Hampshire (paid Dec. 21), a Christmas card from France (mailed Dec. 14), and a book I ordered from a Japanese seller on Amazon on October 30. |

I messaged Schaubek last week asking what may be going on, no reply - nothing.
Just sent another one. Told them I may contact my card carrier if they don't respond on this. Many European companies are not shipping here now. Seems odd they are.
If this box is just sitting in the airport I need to know. |

These issues are not going to go away anytime soon because a lot of the shipment movement relies upon commercial air and even when the pandemic is on the downside it will take a very long time for old travel habits and the need for those flights to reappear. Meanwhile Fedex and UPS have their own air assets. |

I was sort of looking past delivery; turns out almost no suppliers are selling to US customers. One told me my order is sitting in an airport along with many more. It may be here..maybe.
If no sign by next weekend, reporting as a non delivery, |

For those who might be waiting on packages from Germany, an update! I've been asking for updates from a couple auctionhouses on shipments from several months ago, and the response was that DHL gave up on waiting for air transport for a large number of parcels and shipped them by sea instead. I finally got movement on one — Only took 3 months. |

Thank you Postmaster. I had given up on my Michel catalog from Germany. Now I have hope. |

I got a message Sunday That it'd been transferred to USPS in NJ that morning, on it's way.
Not counting on it being here soon. Bet it went by ship. |

It now looks like my shipment failed delivery due to some dumb issue with an address and is now going back to Germany. No effort made to deliver it.
I tried to reply but couldn't connect. Schaubek is now a company I do no business with. You track a shipment then it gets messed up. |
