I do not know the value(must not be to big).

Hello, after discuss with one of my friend, I come to the conclusion that the price to be for all 90$. Face value plus a premium for block. This will be enought to pay a web host for 6 months. On web I want to put my collections, some studies and the selling things.

Most post-1940 mint nh og stamps don't even sell on ebay for more than 60-70% of face value these days (and shipping sheets will be expensive, which people won't want to pay for if they're using the stamps for postage). Only the very few rare/collectible scott#'s after 834 sell at FV or at a premium from what I'm seeing in the current market. It is a shame and seems non-sensical, but the supply is so much greater than the demand these days, that is reality.

It is however, a very good time to build a collection of sheets or plate blocks if you are so inclined (that's my view at least) :-)

Those are doubles of my collection. You are wright to say shame and non-sensical, but seam to be the reality. In this case I will just keep for others days together with hundreds of doubles blocks, and fdc's.

Completely disagree with jamesg. Ever since the pandemic, prices for modern stamps, even for common ones are selling for close to FV or even higher than FV on ebay. Gone are the days of 60% to 70% of FV mint stamps on ebay.

Good luck getting face value, I am not buying and I do not think anyone else is. you certainly can give it a try and report your results. Thanks

To add to Torin's post, it is the individual sheets, booklets and coil rolls which are selling for near to over face and over face when shipping and sales tax (if ebay collects them for your location). Now mixed item lots and less than full sheets still move at a discount. Bulk lots (say a pad of Trans-Mississippi or Mars Rover) move at a high percentage. Some pads like the Mars Rover $3 s/s at and over face.

The 1998 Trans-Miss pad, face $380 sold this afternoon for $336.01 with shipping. If the buyer paid California sales tax the total hits over $364 or more than 95% of face. ebay item number: 313461675116

I can also direct you to a seller on ebay who consistently now gets over face for his individual full sheets, booklets and coils form the 1920s-2017 or so all with one cent start bids and has done so for the duration of the pandemic. I am not certain of the SCF rules so I won't post his ebay ID here; but email me and I will tell you and you can see his sold listing yourself.

Chipshot, your lack of participation is not influencing the market nor would bids from you below market do so either when items are moving at or above face.

I think the difference is whether you're selling as 'postage' or a collectible sheet in excellent condition. I'm still finding postage inexpensive, as I just purchased $86.92 FV of postage for $23.38 including Tax and Shipping!
