Hey, everyone. A while ago this neat little album came into my possession. Does it look like there could be something interesting? To my layman eyes it seems to have a quite fun range of 1890-1930 stamps from around the world! Would love to learn if there's something worth looking further into. I'd be grateful for any information. Cheers!

In case any of the stamps prove to be interesting, I'd of course be happy to take a more detailed photo of the stamps in question!

The Hamburg stamp is interesting. I feel sure that it is bogus...a creation by someone who was not familiar with German stamps.

Can't relate it to anything that I've ever seen in German philately, and that is what makes it intriguing.

Hamburg Cinderella (Guess)
I have seen some outrageous Pmks in my time,
The one on that label is up there with them.

Suggestion: rip out from Stamp Album header,
and coloured in by persons unknown.

The Finnish cinderella is a Christmas seal, depicting 'Wainembinen playing the Kantell' (anglicized).

Thanks for all the replies so far!

Here's a closer look at the Hamburg stamp.

These were my great grandfathers, who was Finnish so there's quite a few Finnish ones in there!

The old man's name is Väinämöinen (or Wäinämöinen in obsolete spelling). He's the central figure in the Kalevala, the Finnish national epic.

Here's a different philatelic interpretation of Väinämöinen playing the kantele:

In terms of value probably $20 to $40 on eBay as a lot. The Papal States stamps (third page, second raw from the bottom) are somewhat of a value but only for genuine stamps. Yours are most likely reprints or forgeries, which are very common.
