The USPS must be desperate for money to bring this product back.
In fact, I'm surprised it didn't come back sooner.

Well I just placed an order for an imperf press sheet, $88 plus shipping. I hope they don't continue to issue imperf press sheets because they are so hard to store and expensive to buy. |

Please post a pic of the press sheet when it arrives. It will be interesting to see how it gets folded. It's 11.52" x 22.20." |

Personally, I'm glad to see it. I don't collect U.S., but these items will go well as postage on large envelopes, to mix in with all of those old commemoratives.
Would you be disappointed to receive imperforate multiples on a cover? |

@Rogdcam. I wish that the USPS would publish the production numbers as Canada Post does. There is a small book that lists all of these ( 2012-2015 ) including the production numbers "A Guidebook and checklist - US Postal Service No Die Cut Stamps" by Jill R. Ambrose and James A. Siekermann https://www.goodreads.com/author/sh...R_Ambrose_CHPeter |

I have been checking the last 4 postal bulletins and can't find anything at all about the imperf version of the new Love stamp. Previously when these sheets were being offered the postal bulletin noted the number of stamps that were imperf. |

The smaller press sheets, the ones that come with four panes only as the Lunar New Year, sometimes come in a large envelope. They have been flat with no folds. |

The latest Philatelic Catalogue lists the following imperf press sheets coming (in addition to the Love issue):
August Wilson Chien-Shiung Wu Year Of The Ox
So it seems that this is a full-on resumption of the program: every regular first-class stamp issue will have the imperf variety.
Since almost all such press sheets will go to collectors rather than be used in mailings, they are like manna from heaven to the USPS. |

I'm really delighted to see the no-die cut press sheets being sold again.
I have a complete set of no-die cut panes for every available issue from 2012-2016.
I also have almost every no-die stamps on first day covers with digital color cancels (when available). The color cancel and the no-die stamps in pairs make a very nice display on the envelope.
Since I'm editor and publisher of the Vermont Philatelist, a quarterly 28 page publication of the Vermont Philatelic Society, the members will soon be receiving their issues using no-die cut stamps to pay the postage. |
