I'm adding demos to my site showing plate flaws side-by-side with "normal" stamps, and I've run into a little snag with which I'm hoping the community can help me out — I'm short on scans of "normal" stamps.

When I moved to Japan, I didn't bring my stamps with me because I didn't trust them to the movers, so the only stamps I have with me are those I've acquired since moving here. Most of the "normal" stamps I need for scans are in a safe in Texas! I have the stamp scans I use to show the stamps on the website, but they're 600 dpi and that's not enough resolution to show the level of detail I need.

Here's an example of what I'm doing:

So, I thought I'd post a list here as I work through the project and see if anyone can provide the scans I need. Because e-mailing them to me might be a challenge due to the size, I'll try to specify what portion of the stamp I need to allow for smaller scans.

A few requirements:
  • 2400 dpi
  • PNG format
  • No image adjustments of any kind (no color correction, unsharp mask, descreening, etc.)

So here's the first batch — does anyone have normal versions of these stamps of which they can scan the highlighted portions and send me?

German East Africa MiNr. 20/Sc. 20

Thanks in advance!

I know I don't have what you're looking for, but, my God, you've certainly helped enough people on all the stamp boards so much, that I hope you get all the images you need in spades!
