Your postmark is prior to 544 being issued on 12/21/22 so rule that out. It is the wrong color for a 545 so rule that out. That leaves flat plate 498 and offset 525. I have my pick but what do you think?

I will add an aside. Patterned off of several large European cities already in practice, in 1920 Boston and its surrounding suburbs numbered their stations with a "Zone Number System" to aid in delivery with the numerous identical street names in the area. Roxbury got #19. In 1943 when the Zone Number System was expanded to over 100 cities across the country due to the WWII manpower shortages in the Post Office Department, the Boston system continued there (also being used sparingly in Pittsburgh since c1925). When the Zip Codes came along in 1963, the Boston area simply added 021 to their 1920 system and converted. Thus 02119 is still one of the Zip Codes for the Roxbury area - retaining the "19" portion 100+ years later. (See Bart Billings "A Zone Number System for Boston", published in 1994 by the Machine Cancel Society.)
