Leaves a patchwork of cloth imprint maybe.
Ph of my H2O is 7.2 . I always use distilled water. But that's just me.
I press with newsprint and change the paper after an hour or so, use dry newsprint and then press with heavy books which we have plenty of. After a day or so they are flat and dry. I usually will then air dry a day or two before mounting.
