Vayolene: Beautiful sheetlet. Thx for sharing
Rogdcam: Assume your comment was tongue-in-cheek. Believe the actress/model traces her ancestry to Central Europe.

Her ancestors were Finnish and Russian. Her great-grandfather came to Canada and changed his name to Anderson because his real name was un-pronoucable according to Wikipedia

Hans C. Andersen is a giant of children's literature. We read em all, I am surprised there aren't more stamps especially from Denmark. He was a gift to the world from the Danes. His stories are poignant, touching, well worked. I reread the "Little Match Girl " last night. Damn if I didn't teer up again. Cheers |

Anne Mette Heindorff Inspirational stamp collector. In the days of no images, or very few, just text communication in RCSD (Recreation, Collectors, Stamps, Discuss) Recall sending her some stamps to Denmark, and they went via DENMARK in Western Australia, Part page |
