Not quite sure what that comment means. However, when I scanned these images, they were upside down. But I changed them and re-saved them while also re-sizing. Is the comment because these images are upside down? If not, then how about an explanation? They are right side up for me, so if it's really showing upside down then I will fix. |

Bravo - they are lovely and right side up. Italy... (and Spain - I know not featured here). I am trying not to be swayed :) haha as I have my hands full with France, GB, and MX. But I am sure down the line Italia y Espana will be next with their own pages.
I really love your collections/pages. Nora. |

Thanks Nora. I haven't done Mexico yet as it is one the larger countries by volume that I have. I've been focusing on countries that have less than 300 stamps up to 1940 as this will minimize the number of countries that remain in the old albums and glassines. I have, however, spent quite a bit of time on some of the larger countries. I remounted China (to 1973+) and France (to 1959) into Scott Specialty pages. I have also done some of Canada (to 1940), Great Britain, Germany (1949-1959), Japan (to 1940), and Yugoslavia (to 1940) on Steiner pages. I'm open to requests for what country to work on next. |

Yes, your scans are each upside-down for me - the same for your Hong Kong entry. Perhaps it is just me. Do others see these scans right side up?? I am viewing in Edge and Internet Explorer (I checked it out in both), if that makes a difference.
Would others please comment??
ETA: They look like nice collections. I like the clean simple layout of Steiner pages. |

Thanks for letting me know they show upside down for you. No one else has mentioned it. I will see what I can do to get this corrected and change what I do for scanning. My pages are inside sheet protectors so the easiest way for me to scan them is unfortunately for them to be upside down initially. When I flip them around to scan upright, I lose part of the page. I'll figure something out before I post more pages. I think it's frowned upon to upload the same pages again, but maybe to correct the orientation is a good reason.
Note: I view this forum on my Android phone (Chrome), and also have viewed with my Windows 10 machine via Chrome and Edge, and the pages are always right side up. |

Hi NicholasC - the latest post looks fine. The first post is upside-down - for me - but that appears to be my problem. Very weird - I don't ever see things upside-down, and I assume (and THAT'S where the problem is...) everybody else sees what I see. I cannot imagine what it is about my system that does that. I was trying to be funny with my wise-crack, but if no one else sees what I see, it's not too funny.
I can appreciate what it takes to put together a nice Italy collection. It's enough of a challenge to make it fun! Thank you for sharing. |
