Poll Question:
Hello,
Sorry my first time posting here.
I have large WW used collections, various MNH country specific collections, some of them complete, various used country specific collections and some mixed.
I am looking to consign multiple worldwide and country specific collections to a reliable and reputable ebay seller. Your recommendations are greatly appreciated, not necessarily the two mentioned below.
Thank you!

I would think you'd need 'nominations' first, before soliciting a vote. Above suggests you need to choose one OR the other, so both and neither doesn't seem to be an option (?) Big does not equate to reputable.

Welcome to the Forum.

First, believe it would be help to know more about your inventory. Is it chiefly used WW stamps? Mint complete series of more desired countries? Etc.

Second, agree with jamesg. This is a bit more involved than simply "chicken or fish".

Third, if you believe you have quality, marketable material. why wouldn't you (try to) sell it yourself?

My three cents.

Agree with you Calstamp and Jamesg.
I posted incorrectly, I am looking for alternate recommendations for a varied collection, not necessarily the ones posted in the poll above.

4love...

Thanks for the addtl background.

Am a fellow WW collector (ex US). Have been collecting for
more than 50 years. Would characterize my buying activity as frequent.

Majority of material acquired via traditional/long-time dealers, fellow collectors/vest pocket dealers, and ebay. Listed in hierarchal order.

My experience with ebay is that much of the philatelic offerings are overpriced. And the material in many instances not accurately described. Hence, if you opted to sell your collections via an ebay dealer I probably would not be among your prospective buyers.

By contrast, if I saw that your collections/material was being offered via an established/reputable dealer (and the material was something of interest), I would likely be a prospective buyer.

Bottom line: For me established/reputable dealers are the preferred channel. For a host of reasons.

Recommend you contact Michael Ball (Tempe AZ), Larry Admundsen (St Louis area), and Don and Pat (DP Stamps, San Diego). Have made numerous purchases from
each across more than a decade.

While each has their respective niche, believe they are all knowledgeable, ethical, and
pleasant to work with.

Good luck.

Without the foggiest idea of what your collection actually consists of giving an informed opinion is impossible. There are many options which are all dependent upon the material and there may very well be several different avenues that you should travel down in parallel to maximize your outcome.

The country specific collections that I have are the following, all are mostly MNH from 1920-1980 approx where it stops. Pre 1920 are mixed MNH, mint and cancelled.
-Austria
-Switzerland
-Japan
-Falkland and South Georgia
-Russia
-DDR
-Berlin
-India
A 5 volume WW compilation with mostly used but full pages.

I would appreciate any leads for exceptional and reliable ebay sellers to consign with. I am only looking to consign.
Thank you, all!
