Bobby - I understand your POV. So much of ebay is the same old crud. However, I have found that if one is persistent and checks in regularly (and has a focused search), one can find good stuff every once in a while. No argument from me, though --- it does take time. With stamp shows on hold, ebay suddenly has more appeal. If you have a dealer (or dealers) that you have good luck with, definitely keep going to them.

Yes, the 'every once in a while' became so infrequent it ceased to be worthwhile to me. I have a pretty narrow collecting focus though.

I deal with one auction house in Australia now so I have much more time to focus on my writing and study.
