I clicked to buy some stamps (Australia)
$1.27
193493227710
Go to basket (Buy Now)
and realise the vendor has not included Postage
The later preamble shows $1 but the basket is showing $1 only total.
Further, the details show he/she will not post to a PO Box

Now I am threatened with a "failure to pay" notice.

How do you guys/gals get resolution?
Trying to get a response from ebay seems the go round in circles.
No ability to talk to a human.

PS 3 times advised vendor to supply a new total,
and get confirmation not posting to my address
No response

Rod,

Will the payment page allow you to just add the $1 for Aussie shipping and pay?

Thanks Postmaster,
I'll re-visit and have a look,
perhaps I missed something.

I cannot see anything,
If I try and pay (even the dollar) I get a refusal Icon.

and at bottom

Rod222,

you have to ask the seller to send you an invoice in Aud including shipping in AUD. You can also ask them pls to ship to your PO box

Rod,

I've had that happen before, where the description advertises shipping worldwide but the seller hasn't checked the right boxes for that the be reflected in the locations box. Unfortunately, the only way to get around that is to contact the seller and have them manually change the locations to which they will ship in that field of the listing.

You can have them ship it to me in the States, and then I'll turn it around back to you. May take a few months to get your $1.27 item, though.

Mighty generous of you PMGS,
I'd like to get some sort of resolution from ebay.
I would simply forget the purchase normally, under "offer and acceptance" rules, the items are not that important.

The risk of having a "failure to pay" against me,
has me persevering.

I had something similar happen trying to buy a old used sassone on auction
Couldn't figure it out it was won for 10$ plus 11$ shipping
I was pretty bummed lost out on the book and didn't
ended up going in my favour (failure to pay)

All sorted, thank you kindly, for all contributions.
ebay fixed the problem, I have paid my $2

The CURIOSITY here, is the vendor has circa 15,300 sales up.
I thought I was dealing with a new ebayer.

If you get one strike, ebay will inform you but there is no consequence whatsoever.

Thanks Shermae, Thanks Bobby,
Wow! that's fairly extreme Bobby, I have very few problems with ebay, granted, I only work the penny stamps, most collectors fall over themselves to oblige.
I usually pay within 5 minutes of a purchase, and I get great reports.

I bought a Russian pair, last week, CV Mint $200 Used $15
Mine was the very tiniest of CTO, and I paid $1.75

I often get bargain like that,
I was thinking over the past few days, would I pay $1,000 for Billigs over ebay? Probably not, I prefer to buy big with established dealers.

For me ebay had run its race Rod.

All I saw was the same dross day in day out, week in week out.

Being away from it has allowed me to focus on other areas. Just for a lark I checked what I usually looked at, and sure enough, same old same old.
