Greetings.

Am hoping there is a SCF member who is a Colombia "expert" who can provide some insight re this matter.

Am utilizing the Scott catalogue. So the stamps I am referring to are Scott 339
through 350. Per Scott this series was engraved and features a perforation of 14.

A note at the end of the series listing says, "The 1c, 5c, 10c, 50c, 2 p, 5 p, and
10 p also exist perforated 11.5 and 11.5 compounded with 14."

Of the multiple varieties of issues 339 through 334 which I have measured so far, only one copy of Scott 339 (bister) has a perforation of 14. By contrast, I have identified many examples (of stamps within this series) with a perforation of 13.5 or 13.5 x 14.

Have also identified what I believe is a "redrawn" or plate variety of Scott 342 (4c violet) and a possible shade variety of Scott 344 (10c grey).

I have measured the perforations on each stamp twice and am rather confident of the accuracy.

Has anyone else come across similar perforation and shade varieties for this series?

Thanks in advance.
