If the quality is as it seems, £ 2,500 should be the low end. If that is the first offer, you might try for a bit more than that. If you say you paid £ 6,500, I would expect the SG catalogue price to be at least £ 8,000, unless you bought from Stanley Gibbons and in recent years. The seahorses alone are sold for £1,000 by SG (unmounted).
