Ebay Canceling Listings After Paying For Purchases?

Twice this month when checking "My Summary" I found this message:

We removed this listing from the site. For more information and next steps go to Messages. For information about delivery, view your order details.

When I checked my messages there is no mention of this.

I received both Items in a timely manner.

Some weirdness going on over there in my opinion. A few times in last couple of weeks I've had to do the captcha thing upon signing out. Signing in I get.

Glitch in the Matrix

The times I have seen this in the past is when a listing violated ebay's terms and they yanked it after the fact.

From a buyer's perspective it's extremely annoying as the listing just evaporates other than being a line item in your buying history. If you deleted any emails associated with the purchase, you're SOL. Even then, if there's any problems with the item, there's no listing to refer back to. No pictures. No text. Nothing.

Have had similar things happen, like messages saying "your item is being shipped" when I received it a month prior. As Rich stated, just a hiccup somewhere most likely.
