I took a harder look at this seller's sold listings and found some Russia that I am very comfortable making a pronouncement on. He sold a Scott 68, which is my avatar stamp, in July and it is a copy done on a modern printer. The paper and image is a dead giveaway but mostly the paper on ALL of his "rare" stamps. Plus the perforations are wrong. But the paper is just way too bright. This seller is selling in a Cartel/Ryle league as far as dollar amount stolen goes.
On the Canadian jubilees the perfs were what I noticed first the top and bottom perfs were smaller than the real versions, but on the $4 stamp they seemed correct. The color on the $2 and $4 dollar were a little off from any I've seen listed and off from my 2 used versions. The paper is definately off. I cant believe that if these people are willing to pay over $300 on a stamp that once they receive them, they should be able to see that it isnt an engraved stamp but a color copy and hopefully request a refund from that site.
This person blocked me from asking any questions after I asked him if these stamps were fakes like the Newfoundland rare air mails he sold last week and at least 2 other times in his history.
He is commiting fraud against those who are buying from him and commiting fraud on the whole stamp collecting community. His sales from these past couple days show that crime does pay.
yes 3 weeks in a row and they dont seem to take reports seriously as long as they are getting their fees. That is why they need to get caught by those who were scammed asking for refund. I've seen he is running at least 3 different accounts doing the same thing.
