As for novel topic, I am unsure. Have to go to P.O. as it is not shown on Canada Post website as of this moment.

An issue that draws the lines on Sept. 14. I wonder if its not etch-a-schetch? It is after all 60 years old.

Similar here, the post offices visited had no information for this issue, probably postpone. I'll give a call tomorrow at the Philatelic Customer Service in Ottawa (1-800-565-4362)

I just came from post office and they were expecting new issues tomorrow. Checked the site and saw nothing about new issues either. Cartoonists. Makes sense. Never clued in on that.

Lately the issues never arrive on time, the details magazine hardly ever arrives before the issue date. They dont seem to care if collectors are still interested in new issues and are producing FDC's for themselves. I am glad that they produce the quartly packs with die cut singles, as cutting out your own is a pain. Without a doubt the collectors of newer US issues would love to be able to purchase the quarterly issues with die cuts, instead of having to purchase booklets and cut em up.

Got this from the Canada Post philatelist counter this morning, date changes have been made to a few issues, under reserved as follow:

A novel topic from Sept 8 moved to Nov 25
Draw the line from Sept 14 to Oct 8
Universal appeal from Sept 29 to Nov 19

Unchanged date for Canada Post Community Foundation Sept. 20

These changes will be included in the next Detail booklet which will be mailed next week.
