Hi there. I collected stamps as a child and have just gotten back into it recently. About 2 years ago, my father also gave me his own childhood stamp collection which is really wonderful. I don't know anything about philately, I just enjoy the history of the stamps, for example my Bavarian stamps from a country that no longer exists, or my 100 million mark stamp from Germany in 1923. The history is marvellous even if the stamps have no monetary value.
I'm still deciding what I want to focus on collecting - right now it seems to be just 'I likes what I likes'!
