Japan 1875 Stamp ID Assistance

Having troubles IDing this Japanese stamp. Design is closest to Sc #49, issued in 1875, but it is missing the syllabic character that usually is present in the crossed branches above the value, and the bottom characters of the central inscription are not found in #49. There is no mention of a version of this design without the syllabic that I can find in Scott specialized (don't have a Japanese specialized cat.). Perfs are 11.5.

It looks like a Wada forgery.
Crossed branches only instead of syllabics on the 30sen violet.
