Here is a TA25a with the stamp design seemingly surrounded on three sides by misregistered inscribed lines. There is no preprinting paper fold. What is going on with this stamp?

You're right - two stamps stuck together! I feel silly!

No need to feel silly, we all have brain freeze at times. I posted a request along the lines of, "where is this city in Alaska" forgetting about the proper period Alaska map not 8 feet from my computer in the stamp room.

So will you soak 'em or keep them together for the story they created?

I regularly find two stamps adjoined when I am scanning my stamps
Sometimes just barely a whisker of double perfs is the hint.
Don't sweat it, have a gigggle.

Thanks for the uplifting comments! I consider myself an advanced collector, at least in some areas, but this is one to laugh about.

I've already separated them and have two perfectly normal TA25's.
