I found this real photo picture postcard at the Iowa City Postcard Show last Friday, showing "Manama From The Sea." The postmark is Bahrain, 15 July 1950, sent via airmail to Teaneck, New Jersey, USA. The writer marked an "X" in blue ballpoint pen to the left of the tower in the center, pointing out the American Hospital in Manama. I went to Wiki for more information on the hospital.

(From the Wiki article, an incredible story of Dr. Sharon J. Thoms, and the first day at work in Manama!)
