Can anyone tell me more about the uploaded Chinese stamps? It seems they origine from the civil war period, about 1949, but I wonder what province or city and what year they are. Help will be appreciated. With greetings, Cor.
These were private stamps & overprints from Wansheng now called Chongqing. The exact dates I do not know.Yours look genuine because forgeries of these exist. The stamps were early communist China (Mao) propaganda. Over 3000 tons of bombs were dropped on Chongqing by the Japanese between 1939-1942
