Specifically they are basically space/science themed errors, and any guidance on where to find one, let me know!

I didn't bother to send it in for recertification. I examined it pixel by pixel and under deep magnification it appears no red is present anywhere on the stamp. The pixels in the original scan were a jpg artifact. I now own 2 1556a. :) Since I liked the 2nd one better than my first, I may try to sell my original one which isn't certified.
Regarding the 1556d, the most recent updates on tracing it - the one dealer I knew had the potential 1556var as stated in the Linn's article from the 90s. It was listed on hipstamp and was under consignment as recent as a year or two ago, so I am talking with his estate (he passed). I don't believe it sold. Awaiting word on this, though not holding my breath.
So it's so far still a dead end.
The 2543a may be even more elusive. This one could probably be sitting under people's noses but remains super difficult and before covid inspected a ton of sheets. I may need to contact every person who owns it, and have them put it under a lamp! May circle these with the EFOCC and see what pops.
Those are great stamp errors, but they would be effectively dupes for me. That first 2 way misregistration is great. The 1435b plateblock from that sheet went for $500 in Kelleher's Lang's auction. I missed the 1435d, as I somehow got distracted when that lot went live. I don't think that one is "impossible".
Maybe I will start a new space error thread that takes you through the journey of what I have.
You know I get ebay from here :) I do appreciate your help though. The only thing more rediclous about that ink blot, is the seller thinking it's worth $135.
Yes, but threads are more interesting with images. Besides, when you say, "I got those already" then folks have a better idea about what level you are after.
Large ink splatters or smashed ink drops are not that common and space is a popular topical. Many space EFOs have out of this world prices.
